Journeyman

This Writer’s Guild of America strike has been going on for too long already. It’s sad when you think that no one is budging especially the big media corporations who want to rake in all the cash. The writers do have their reasons behind it but the guys who are really hurt here are the little guys (camera guys, production, etc) who are really affected by the strike since they are out of work plus not involved in the strike.

It is real unfortunate and they need to sort things out soon. Good thing some daily shows are planning to come back.

Anyway, most of the shows I have been watching are already finished for the season or having their mid-season break. With nothing to watch, I decided to try out Journeyman, a show I’ve heard about quite a bit.

The premise is a little similar to Quantum Leap since they both go back time and help people change. This is where the similarities end. In Journeyman, he lives two lives, the past and the present making sure he juggles both properly and keeps his family intact. Some story elements also interweave each episode.

The series instantly hooked me as I started to watch one whenever I had time after work but on Friday I watched like 10 episodes straight.

The sad thing though is this series has already been canceled by NBC.
